Applications for the Baobab Digital Innovation Scholarship are now being accepted from eligible candidates. It is an all-inclusive scholarship offered by Arizona State University to all students.
About Baobab Digital Innovation Scholarship
This scholarship program is a component of EdPlus, a core enterprise unit for Arizona State University that focuses on developing and scaling up digital teaching and learning methods to increase student performance and remove barriers to academic success.
This traditional 2-year on-campus master’s program focuses on producing EdTech experts for Africa and is entirely immersive.
In order to get real-world experience putting the strategic objectives of the Baobab Platform into effect, scholars have the opportunity to work part-time with the Baobab team while classes are in session.
The Baobab Platform will eventually include a global learning network with over 70,000 ambitious young African leaders.
Scholars will get financial aid to participate in a 2-month internship in Africa that is connected to their programme of study between the first and second years.

Baobab Digital Innovation Scholarship Requirements
- To be qualified to apply, a program must be one of those listed above.
- For admission to the degree of their choosing, applicants must be academically qualified, which includes having a high level of English proficiency.
- Citizens of African nations are required to apply.
- Prior to the application deadline, applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 35.
- Candidates must present evidence of their previous community leadership and service.
- The applicants must have a poor financial situation and be unable to obtain funding from family or other sources to continue their graduate studies in their native country or abroad.
- Candidates must have completed a minimum of 4 years of study toward an undergraduate degree.
- Before August 2023, candidates could not have begun or finished any other graduate degrees.
- The ability to reside in Phoenix, Arizona for the duration of the program is a requirement for applicants.
