Columbia University Scholarships

Columbia College literacy/scholarships offers awards to outstanding transnational scholars. The awards are one time cash grants or 15 percent – 100 percent education reduction.
The College Board Opportunity Literacy program is presently open to class of 2022 scholars in the United States, Puerto Rico, andU.S. homes, anyhow of citizenship status.U.S. citizens and residers attending Department of Defense Education Activity seminaries abroad may also share.

C – College S ELIGIBILITY

  • Attend a public, private, or home academy, located in one of the fifty( 50) United States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, theU.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, American Samoa, the Northern Mariana Islands, or any otherU.S. homes and effects, or areU.S. Citizens or residers who attend aU.S. Department of Defense Education Activity( “ DoDEA ”) academy outside of the United States andU.S. homes;
  • Are/ were, as of December 1, 2020, inferiors in high academy( i.e., scholars in their third time of secondary academy); and
  • Have a College Board online regard.

Children or wards of( a) workers, officers and trustees of Sponsor, Khan Academy and their affiliates, agents or representatives;( b) Program’s advertising and promotion agencies, if any, as well as( c) house members of( a) and( b), whether or not related, aren’t eligible to admit Literacy as part of this Scholarship Program.
For scholars who attend DoDEA seminaries outside of the United States andU.S. homes, Sponsor may bear fresh evidence of any party’s citizenship or occupancy status to share. The form of similar fresh evidence will be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.

“ Lower Income Scholars, ” defined as scholars( a) eligible to admit a figure disclaimer from the College Board, and/ or( b) attending a high- poverty academy( defined by theU.S. Department of Agriculture as a academy where 75 or further of scholars admit free or reduced price lunch), and/ or( c) having a family Acclimated Gross Income of$ or lower, will have a chance to enter separate and fresh delineations, as described below.

For scholars for whom( c) applies, they may be needed to give verification of their family Acclimated Gross Income using our secure document system if they’re named for one of the separate and fresh literacy. How to Apply for Columbia College Scholarship

Scholars earn one( 1) entry in the month when they complete either exertion. Limit One( 1) entry per scholar aggregate.

Explore Scholarships: Explore a list of scholarships personalized based on your background, achievements, and future plans on College Board Scholarship Search. You must be logged in to Scholarship Search using your College Board account and complete prompts to generate a personalized list.

Strengthen Your College List: Create or edit a college list on College Board BigFuture so that it has a minimum of one (1) “safety,” two (2) “match,” and three (3) “reach” colleges.

Columbia College Scholarship Deadline

Scholars must save their college list. Eligibility for monthly drawings will close at 11:59:59 p.m. EST on the last day of each month from July 31, 2021 to October 31, 2021. . Scholars will first earn one (1) entry in the month when they create and save their college list with the minimal “safety,” “match,” and “reach” colleges sidelined above. Limit: One (1) entry per student total.

Complete the FAFSA: With the assistance of a parent or legal guardian, as necessary, students must complete and submit the FAFSA between October 1, 2021 and February 28, 2022. Eligibility for monthly drawings will close at 11:59:59 PM EST on the last day of each month from October 31, 2021 to February 28, 2022.

If the scholar is not a citizen or does not meet the residency requirements and is thus legally ineligible to complete the FAFSA, the student may still earn an entry by completing their state’s financial aid form, if available. If the student’s state does not offer a state financial aid form or if the scholar is also legally ineligible to complete their state’s financial aid form, by so attesting, the scholar may still earn an entry for this scholarship. scholar earns one entry in the month they meet either of these requirements. Limit: One (1) entry per student total.

A completed form should be posted back to the College Board, Attn CB Opportunity Literacy, 2200 NW 72nd Avenue, Miami, FL 33152- 9418, with the requested information including full name, posting address, mail address, birthdate, College Board account username, and the scholarship type and drawing month when correspondence- in entry should be applied.

Limit one( 1) entry per stamped external envelope.P.O. Boxes aren’t permitted. Also, an existent is limited to one( 1) entry per Education( excepting the overall “ Complete Your Trip ” Education which scholars may not enter via correspondence- in entry). Entries admitted from any person in excess of these limitations shall be null and void.
Automated or bulk entries or entries submitted by third parties may be disqualified. Entries must be submitted by the Eligible Student.

Any attempt by any party to gain further than the stated number of entries by using multiple and/ or different individualities, forms, enrollments, dispatch addresses, logins, or any other styles will qualify that party’s entries, and that party may be disqualified from the Program.

Affidavit of Eligibility, Waiver and Consent Implicit winners must digitally subscribe an affidavit of eligibility and any other applicable waivers to claim theirprize.However, they will also need to have their parent/ legal guardian sign similar affidavit of eligibility and applicable waivers to claim their prize, If any similar scholar is a minor.
