Expect the best in people. Think high of people. Be interested in people. According to Jacques Wiesel, – “Every self-made millionaires could only see the good in people”.

Benjamin Disraeli, once said, “The greatest good you can do for one another is not just to share your riches, but to reveal to him his own”.

  • Give People Hope

Leaders are dealers in hope. People get attracted to leaders that give them hope. Hope is the greatest of all possession.

  • Give yourself Totally to People

Leaders who share themselves are likely to attract people. You have to share yourself, wisdom, resources, time, etc. the bottom line is other mindedness. Leaders who think about others and their concerns before thinking of themselves.

COMMUNICATION

Developing excellent communication skills is absolutely essential to effective leadership. The leader must be able to share knowledge and ideas to transmit a sense of urgency and enthusiasm to others.   1. Be Simple In Your Message

How you say it is much more important than what you say. The key to effective communication is simplicity. Don’t impress people with big words. Until you are simple, you cannot connect with people. Always be clear in your communication.

  • Understand The People Your Communicating To

Focus on the people you are communicating to. Unless you know the audience you are communicating to, you cant be effective.

Ask yourself these questions: Who is my audience? What are their questions? How much time do I have? Great communicators believe in people.

  • Be Credible to Your Audience

Always show the truth to your audience. Credibility is the backbone of great communication. You must believe in what you say.

Field Marshal Ferdinard Foch observed, “The most powerful weapon on earth is the human soul or fire”. Also live what you say, credibility – leads to conviction in action.

  • Seek A Response

The goal of communication is action. Give them something to field, something to remember and something to do. Danto Manquez Jr. said, “A leader must get things done through others, therefore the leader must have the ability to inspire and motivate, guide and direct and listen”
