Concerning the Scholarship | About University of Liverpool Postgraduate Scholarship

The full cost of tuition for chosen students will be covered by a scholarship, and they will also receive a maintenance stipend of £15,609 per year for 3.5 years.

The Studentship is funded by the EPSRC as a component of a business-led research cooperation between leading UK businesses and their long-term strategic university partners.

The opportunity to work on a significant project with academic and business partners to create new materials as supports for Fischer Tropsch and CO2 utilization catalysts is an intriguing feature of this multidisciplinary PhD studentship.

In order to be eligible for the scholarship, you must:

  1. Meeting the EPSRC’s eligibility conditions.
  2. Obtain the necessary qualifications to enroll at the University of Liverpool.
  3. Satisfy the university’s English language proficiency criteria.
  4. Apply prior to the cutoff date.

Liverpool Postgraduate Scholarship Duration and Benefit

For 3.5 years, the scholarship will cover the full cost of tuition as well as a maintenance allowance.

For the years 2021–2022, the maintenance grant is £15,609 per year, with an increase possible for 2022–2023.

Candidates must be prepared to submit the following paperwork in order to apply:

  1. Certificates or transcripts from a school or college.
  2. Transcripts from colleges.
  3. Degrees and diplomas.
  4. English proficiency diplomas (International applicants only).
  5. Personal statement.
  6. Signed recommendations from two people on formal letterhead (these should be academic references if you have been in full-time education in the last three years)
  7. Study proposal (may be tested for plagiarism, collusion and other irregularities).
